I started out in the late 90s designing club flyers and posters for club nights in Southampton, London, and Bristol. That work led to a brand role in London through the early 2000s, where I where I handled identity work in both print and web until 05.
In 2006 I launched Science Skateboards, a small UK company that later reached Japan and built ties in San Francisco along the way. I handled most of it myself, with support from the skaters, contributors and distributors.
Somewhere around halfway I contributed to Club Mumble, a collective of artists, designers, and skaters, and after moving to San Francisco in 2017, I worked with Bay Area new additions alongside the UK and Japan crew. We relaunched Science in 2019 but it was short lived, setbacks and the pandemic made it unsustainable, and I eventually closed it down.
